When should I do a pre-emergent application?
If you have not had a spray in 3 months, the answer is now! It is a myth that the best time is in the spring. The spring is a good time, but not the only time to treat your property. We are a year round business and can attest that weeds grow every month and rain falls every month. Just because you may not have weeds doesn’t mean you don’t have seeds just waiting for the next drop of moisture!
I’m laying new landscape rock. Do I use pre-emergents before or after I lay the rock?
We advise spraying after the rock is down as it often carries unwanted seeds. If there were weeds or grass in the area where the rock is going then you should have a post-emergent application before the rock is put down and a pre emergent put down after for best results.
Will pre or post-emergent applications harm my pets?
On every chemical we use, the manufacture states "safe for humans and pets". It is best to wait however till the spray has fully dried.
It rained shortly after the pre-emergent application. Is it still good?
Yes. In fact it’s not only good, it’s great! To be most effective, pre-emergents should be watered into the soil (under the landscaped rock) within thirty days. Even though it might not feel like it, we generally experience some rainfall in our area every month.

Lawn Mowing: $175 per acre, typical residential/commercial lawns cost $35-$50
Lawn Fertilization & Weed Control: Our average price per spray is $51. We spray 6 times per year all year round. (work is guaranteed)
Yard Cleanups, Bush Trimming, Weeding, Tree Trimming, Leaf Cleanups: These services are charged based on how long they will take and don't have a set price. Please contact us to set up a free estimate
Sprinkler Work: There is a $50 service call fee to have a technician come to your property, then $69.97 per hour plus the cost of any parts used. Any time running to the parts store is NOT done on the clock. For sprinkler blowouts we charge $89.97 (up to 10 zones).
Weed Spraying: For monthly clients who have us spot spray any new weeds that pop up every couple weeks the average charge is $10 per gallon. For a 1/2 acre one time spray covered in weeds we will charge closer to $200. There is a wide range depending on quantity of weeds, the size of the area, and the frequency of spraying.
Power Raking & Lawn Dethatching: Our average price is $127 which includes hand raking up all the debris and hauling it off. We do this service in March and April.
